Muscle Imbalances Revealed Review – Upper Body

When rehabilitating and strengthening your upper extremities, there is little doubt that when you use a thorough kinetic approach, you will most certainly reach your goals more quickly. The days are long gone when performing simple rotator cuff exercises were all that was necessary in order to achieve your desired results. It’s now well known that you need to take soft tissue and muscle imbalances of the surrounding joints into consideration as well. If you have been dealing with muscle strengthening and rehabilitation for any time now, you have probably been aware of Rick Kaselj and his Muscle Imbalances Revealed program. His website and educational programs dealing with muscle imbalances involving the lower extremities is quite well known and impressive. Well, this year, Rick has just completed a new version of his program of Muscle Imbalances Revealed that focuses on the upper body and this may be something you will wish to examine.

The concept may be somewhat foreign, however, Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper Body is a print and video education program authored by Rick Kaselj featuring additional presentations by Tony Gentilecore, Jeff Cubos, Dean Somerset, as well as Rick himself.
Topics include:
- Session #1 – Corrective Exercise Strategies for Athletes with Tony Gentilcore
- Session #2 – Avoiding the Top 10 Upper Body Training Bloops and Blunders with Tony Gentilcore
- Session #3 – Myofascial Training for the Upper Body by Dean Somerset
- Session #4 – Advanced Core Training & Conditioning with Dean Somerset
-Session #5 – Linking Breathing with Rehab, Training and Performance with Dr, Jeff Cubos
- Session #6 – Picking the Right Soft Tissue Tool for the Problem with Dr, Jeff Cubos

Added Benefits to the Course

Additionally, the problem with many online video course presentations is that you must sit at your computer to watch them, often times unable to forward through the presentation and return back to areas of interest. Frequently, any interruption of internet service will require you to begin the entire presentation over again. This can be quite inconvenient, not to mention a waste of time.

With many video presentations you cannot download, you cannot burn the video presentation to a DVD and you cannot skip to the best part of the presentation you would like.
Not so with the Muscle Imbalances Revealed program. This program enables you to download, burn and skip to any part of the 8 upper body video presentations.

Another advantage to this program is that with Muscle Imbalances Revealed, you can earn CEUs, CECs and PDCs.
This is done in three easy steps.
Step 1 – You watch the content rich 7 hours of video presentations.
Step 2 – While watching, you answer the multiple choice questions that come with the program.
Step 3 – Then you send your exam to them, they will mark it and will send you the CEU/CEC documentation that your association needs.

In general, I believe the program was well worth examining. Muscle Imbalances Revealed goes beyond stretching what is tight, strengthening what is weak or just performing corrective exercises. It assists us in understanding the synergies that exist within the body and walks you through the intricacies of muscle imbalances. I enjoyed the majority of presentations and picked up several profitable tidbits.

Similar to the lower body program, the website is designed well and the topics were definitely interesting. For the price, included CEU's , and ability to learn from multiple experts in the field, I would recommend this product for anyone interested in the area of muscle strengthening and rehabilitation.
